Medical imaging — transformed a niche-ASIC business into market leadership for integrated detectors. Built the world-class organisation that made it work.
Smart sensing — built a sensor ten times more accurate, smaller and lower-power than anything in the field. Said to be impossible. Designed into the leading global smartwatch platform.
Magnetic position sensing — took the Apple approach to a market that did not want digital products: simple as a screw from the outside, sophisticated technology inside. Grew a sub-$1M niche into a $100M+ franchise, designed into humanoid robotics, surgical robotics and automotive volume programs.
Digital car access — turned the car key into a wallet feature on mobile devices, through global standards leadership and a parallel China standards track. 10x revenue in 5 years, now in nearly every digital-key-enabled car on the road.
Software-defined vehicle in silicon — one UWB radar sensor, multiple use cases enabled by software: child presence detection, automated parking, theft protection and more. Edge AI on the node, new features unlocked over the air, after-sales revenue revenue built in — the template the industry is now adopting.
